Returning to Tanzania, Summer 2025! Want to Join Us?
We're excited to again offer our annual service trip to Tanzania, July 11-21, 2025. All participants cover their own travel/ground expenses - approximately $5000. Limited "air travel" scholarships are available to high school, college, and graduate students who agree to engage with us in service to our organization prior to, during, and following the mission (send us an email to inquire here). This can include sharing content on social media, participating in interviews, markets, and other public events.
In addition, each participant is asked to contribute or raise funds for the provision of pads, undergarments, and education to as many girls as possible: the suggested goal for 2025 is support for 150 girls. We provide a fundraising platform for the raising of funds - as well as a variety of tools, tips, and support to make your vision (and ours!) a reality.
Note that our work with the Tanzanian governmental schools does not allow us to include young men/men in external support for our pad distribution program - though we do have a concurrent men's program centered on the provision of water (details are pending on this for 2025). There are also minimum age requirements: young women joining must be at least 16; with parental permission and notarized documentation, young women, 17+ may participate independently.
