Did You Know? 100% of net sales proceeds give back to support our mission To Empower Women & Girls with Dignity and Purpose. Through our incredible collection of handmade beaded products (including our sandals in women’s US sizes 6-12), East African women Artisans experience fulfilling employment and receive fair wages. Each item is carefully designed and made by hand but the true beauty of our products is how they provide the owner with style and girls and women with opportunity.
We are a non-profit organization which receives generous donations but also engages women Artisans in being part of the solution through their beautiful work. In the U.S., Her Best Foot Forward has no paid employees – 100% of net proceeds benefit the women Artisans who make our beaded leather flip flops and other products, our own UhuruPads menstrual hygiene project, and, as funds permit, other US 501c3 (non-profit) organizations with a track record of success in providing critical support for girls and women.
